日本の秋は気持ちいいですね！！
Autumn in Japan feels good, yeah!!

さわやかでとても過ごしやすいです。
It's easy to live in this mild climate.

アイルランドの秋は、日本の梅雨の時のように
Ireland is pretty much like Japan's rainy season...

「じめじめ」しています。そして暗くて吐く息も白いです。
It's cold, damp and foggy...and you can see your breath in the air!

イメージはゴチック映画みたい。
Looks like a Gothic movie!!

ところで、アイルランドには蛇がいません。
What I did wanna write about...There are no snakes in Ireland!!

僕が初めて蛇を見たのは沖縄のハブです。

The first time I've ever seen a snake was in Okinawa!!

ちょっとびっくり！したけど、お父さんとハブ酒を飲みました。
I was a little shaken!I actually drank Habushu with my father after that.

その夜は二人ともギンギンでした！！！！！！
We got pretty ripped that night!!!!!!

何でアイルランドに蛇がいないのか？
I don't know why there aren't any snakes in Ireland!

昔、セント・パトリックが退治したからです。

We were told that a long time a go, he got rid of them!

これは、アイルランドに伝わる話です。
It's an old Irish legend.

美しい国、日本

最近流行っている　Google Earth を見てみた。

I checked out Google Earth recently!

衛星写真で世界を見れるそうです。
You can see photos taken from a satellite.

さっそく、僕のアイルランドの家を探してみた！

I even found my house in Ireland!!

探すこと数分・・・ありました！僕の家。
It only took me a few minutes!

とても懐かしかったです。
I miss my home!

そしてそのまま僕はパイロットになってアイルランド中を
From then I became a pilot

旅してみました。すごく楽しかった！！

and travelled around Ireland!!

「美しい国、日本」と言う言葉が流行っているみたいだけど、
I often hear it said that Japan is a beautiful country but,

アイルランドも緑が多くて美しい国です。

Ireland also has a lot of greenery making it very beautiful too!

アイルランド料理

来月アイリッシュPARTYがある為料理を考えています。
I am thinking about what food to cook at my party next month!!

僕と一緒に作ってくれるのはプロのコックです。
There is a pro chef helping me out on the day!

でもその日は僕がコック長だよ（笑）
But on that day I am the boss! LOL

少しでもみんなにおいしい料理・アイルランドの雰囲気を味わってもらいたい。

I want everyone to taste Irish food and feel an Irish atmosphere!

アイリッシュシチューだと普通すぎるよね？？

I wonder is Irish stew too common!?

ん・・・今から悩むな。。。
I am fretting it!!!!

考えて今日も寝不足だ（笑）
Thinking about it I probably won't sleep again today! LOL

新聞にのって！！

今日発売のサッカー専門新聞
ＥＧ　EL GOLAZO にのりました。

I was in El Golazo newspaper today!!!

僕がアイルランドのサッカー好きなので取材してもらい新聞にのる事になりました。

I talked about Irish and UK soccer!!!

内容は世界サッカーの風景と言うコラムでVol.29アイルランド編です。
It is a column obout world soccer and fans!

日本に来て色々な体験をしましたが新聞にのる事は初めてです。
I have done a lot of things since I have come to Japan, but it is the first time I have been in a newspaper!

うれしいような恥ずかしいような不思議な思いです。
I am happy at one time but I am embarrassed at the same time!

取材してくれたいとうやまねさんはこんな本を書いています。
I would like to thank Itou/Yamane san!!! It is great!

もう秋だね。
Autumn is here!

とっても寒くなってきたしね。
It has started to cool down!!

秋はサンマだよね（笑）

Autumn means Mackerel!! LOL

季節の物を食べる文化のある日本はとっても面白い！！
The eating seasonal culture in Japan is interesting..eh!!

ロハスだよね。
It's LOHAS

今ロハスが流行っているけど日本は昔からロハスを取り入れている国だなって思います。
Nowadays Japan is big into Lohas, but I think that Japan has been doing things the LOHAS way for a long time!

My mother is the same in Ireland. She grows herbs for salads!

Real LOHAS eh!! LOL

僕は少し前にエコバックを作って売ったお金を寄付しました。
I made an Eco Bag a while ago and sold them all and gave the proceeds to charity.

少しはロハスやボランティアに貢献できたかな？
I wanna contribute to LOHAS a little...

今度はカフェタンブラー作ろうかな♪

Next I might make a Coffee Mug!!♪

I am trying my best to make a website about Ireland at the moment!

ホームページって難しい・・・・。
It isn't easy!!!!

でもできるだけ自分で作りたいと思ってがんばってます。
But I am going to try and do it myself!!! I really wanna succeed at it!

昨日東急ハンズに行きました。

Yesterday I went to TOKYU HANDS!

もうハロウィーンの商品がたくさんあった。
There were lots of Halloween goods already!!

入り口にYOKOSO!JAPANの大きな旗があり外国人がたくさんいた。

At the entrance there was a big YOKOSO JAPAN sign and there were a lot of foreigners there too!!

「何かな？」と思って見に行ったら外国人用のおみやげがたくさん売ってました。
Wondereing what they had, I went to see and realised that they have a lot of gifts for foreigners!

日本の手ぬぐい・雪駄・お面・とかいろいろ。
Japanese face cloths, snow gifts, pictures, and lots more!

今日本はVISITJAPANキャンペーンで外国の人が日本に旅行に来るようにがんばってるよね。
Japan really is giving this VISIT JAPAN campaign a lot to get more foreigners to come to Japan.

とっても良いことだと思います。
I think it's a great thing!!

日本はとってもきれいだし良い文化もある。

Japan is a beautiful country and has a deep culture!

日本の人はとっても優しいし外国の人も良い旅行になると思う。
Japanese are freindly too so it is a good place to visit!

夏ももう終わりだね。
Summer's done..eh?

夏が終わって海外だと大きな行事が待っている！！
When summer finishes back home we wait for the next big festival!

屋形船

この前屋形船見に行きました。
There recently I went to check out the house boats.

夜屋形船を見るととってもきれいだし神秘的に思える。

When you see them at night, they are really beautiful and have an aura about them!

葛西臨海公園の海で見ました。
I saw them at Kasai Rinkai Park..

デイズ二ーランドも近いしとっても良い場所です。
It's pretty near to Disney..a real nice place!

屋形船の中ではみんな楽しそうな声がたくさん聞こえてきました。

I could hear peoples voices in the distance...they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

泳いで屋形船に参加しようと思ったけど（笑）
I was thinking of swimming out to gate crash their party! LOL

日本はとっても良い文化があるんだなって思いました。
I thought that Japan has a really great culture!!

僕も屋形船PARTY企画しょうっと♪

So I am thinking of throwing a house boat party♪

是非みんなその時は来てね（笑）

今日友人Kからメールがきた。
I got a mail from my mate K here!

K「プレゼントがあるから会おう」
He said "I have a present for you so lets meet"

え？バースデーじゃないのに？何かな？

What? It's not my birthday!! What is it??

うれしいけど少し悪い予感もした。
I was happy but I had a bad premonition!!

仕事が終わってKに会いにいってみた。
When I finished work, I went to meet K.

K「ビレッジバンガードに買い物があったからついでに買ってきたよ」
He said that he'd been shopping at Village Vanguard and had bought me something!!

で　で　で　でた～～！！！！！！！！！！！
There it was!!!!!

ラーメンようかん！！！！！！！！

Ramen flavoured Jelly!!!!!!!!!

こんなプレゼントいらない（笑）
Now there's a present I don't need! LOL

ブログの為にも食べてみようとガンバってみた。

I tried eating it just so I could tell you guys about it!

味は・・・・・Well the taste???

ラーメンでした（笑）
Tasted just like RAMEN! LOL

I picked this CD up in Tower Records.

It's called Irish Drinking Songs♪

アイルランドの酒場でみんなで歌うような音楽ばっかりだよ。
It's the type of music you hear when you go to traditional Irish pubs!

２枚入りだしたくさんの曲が入ってる。
