編集アイルランドの旅行から帰ってきました
I just got back from a trip to Ireland１０日間地元のアイルランドに帰りました
I spent 10 days in my homeland!友達と飲みに行ったし！
I hooked up with the boys (promised them I would show their pic!!) LOLママの味を食べて、本番のギネスを飲んで、毎日凄く楽しかったよI had my mothers cooking, drank real Guinness, and had fun every day!本当に色んなものを食べてきました！I ate so many different things!ホロホロ鳥、キジ、アイリッシュサーモン、シチュー、フィッシュ＆チップス・・・
Guinea foul, Pheasant, Irish Salmon, Stew, Fish and Chips...ちょっと太っちゃったな〜！笑
I think I put on some weight!! LOLダブリン市もかなり変わっていたし！
Dublin has changed a bit too!色んな店が無くなって、新しいところもいっぱい！Shops have vanished, and new places opening everywhere!家族でメイヨーって所まで旅行で行きました！
I also went to Mayo with my family!西の方にある「ウェストポート」って町に泊まりました
We stayed in Wesport in the west of Ireland.ギネスを飲みながら伝統的な音楽のライブを聴いたりローカルの人たちと話したりしてきた！We drank Guinness while listening to trad music in bars, chatted to the locals and so on!みんなも知っていると思うけど今週ユーロ２００８年のサッカーの試合もやっていた！I am sure you all know but Ireland were playing in the Euro 2008 qualifers this week. 田舎の方のパブに入ってアイルランドの試合を見たんだWe went to a pub in a country town and watched the game 凄く盛り上がったよ！みんなで歌って、酔っ払った！笑It was great, everybody singing, and getting drunk! LOL日本にない雰囲気だな〜と思った！It is a kind of atmosphere you don't really see in Japan!もうホームシックになってます！！！泣
I think that I am getting homesick already! ４月１５日にアイリッシュパーティーやるからみなさん是非遊びに来てね！！On the 15th of April I am having an Irish party, so everyone come along and join us!盛り上がりましょう♪

My mother goes to church every Sunday to pray!アイルランド人は宗教的な人種なんだIrish people are pretty religious you knowでもおばあさんから面白い話を聞いた！！But my grandmother had a really funny story!とある日に女の人が道を歩いていて偶然に教会の聖職者に会った
One day there was a young woman walking down the road when she bumped into the parsih priest.彼は「ああ、２年前に結婚式をしてあげたドナバンさんじゃないんですか・・・元気ですか？旦那さんも元気かい？子供がもうじきできそうですか？」って言いましたHe said that he had married her and her husband two years preinviously and asked how her how she and her husband were...and if there were any little ones on the way!?（聖職者はとてもフレンドリーでいつもこういう話をかけてくる！！）In Ireland priests are really friendly and always talk to you彼女は「元気ですよ。でも子供はまだまだですね！」って答えました！She replied that she was well, but there was no sign of any kids yet!!じゃあ、来週ローマに行くから子供ができるようにバチカンでキャンドルを灯してあげるよって言った
Well, I am going to the Vatican next week, so I will light a candle for your cause, he said with a smile（祈るためにはキリスト教でろうそくを灯してあげることが多いです）In Christianity we often light candles to pray for something we wantドナバンさんがありがとうございます またねって言って買い物に行きましたShe thanked him and went on her way to do her shopping!それから２，３年たって、また聖職者に会ったんだ！2 or 3 years passed, when she bumped into the priest again!元気かい・・・子供は出来たの？って聞かれたHow are you??...any toddlers running around yet?「元気ですよ・・・この三年間で双子を３回出産して子供が６人いますよ」
I am really well, she replied...since then I have given birth to 3 sets of twins...I have 6 kids!おおぉ・・・おめでとうございます！！旦那さんは元気かい？Wow...congratulations...and how is your husband?う〜ん！あんまり！！Well, he isn't doing so good!!!どうして？？What's wrong??あなたに灯して頂いたろうそくを消すためにローマまで行っていますよ！（笑）
Well, those candles you lit for us...he's gone to Rome to find them and put them out!僕も大学生のときに教会に行ってろうそくを灯して試験が合格出来るように祈っていました！（笑）When I was a University student in Ireland, I often went to light candles and pray around exam time, so I could PASS!!
