最近、僕は忙しくて、毎日日記を書けなかった！！
I have been really busy recently so I haven't been able to write my diary every day!!

お兄さんが来月来日するから、色んな準備で忙しかったんです。
My brother is coming to Japan next month, so I have been gettign ready for that!

梅雨はまだ明けないんですね！？

The rainy season hasn't finished yet!!

いつ梅雨明けなのかな？
When will it end!?

アイルランドは梅雨が無いんだけど、今年は雨が凄く良く振っているみたいです！

We don't have a rainy season in Ireland but this year in particular it seems to be raining a lot there!

一昨日お父さんと話していて、６月後半から、毎日雨が降ったと言っていた！！
I talked to my father the other day and he said that it has rained every day for the last month!!

アイルランドでは、夏が来る前にいつもツバメが飛んでくると、夏がすぐ来るって言い伝えがあるんです！

We have a true sign that summer is coming in Ireland too, that when the swallows come, summer is here!

でも今年ツバメがまだ来ていない！来るかな！？
But this year thye are late!

日本だとセミかな？？
In Japan, it is the Cicada, I suppose!

アイルランドでは多いし面白い言い伝えがあるんです！！
There are so many in Ireland and there are a fair share of sayings to go with!

居る数によって、意味があります！
Depending on how many there are, the meaning is different!

１匹だと悲しみ

２匹居ると喜び
Two for joy,

３匹居たら、女の子を生む

４匹居たら、男の子を生む
Four for a boy,

５匹だったら、銀を貰う
Five for silver,

７匹見たら、あなたに対して秘密がある
Seven for a secret never to be told.

例えば１匹見たら、アイルランド人が「タッチウッド」をする！
In Ireland, when we see one, we say "touch wood!"

I want to tell you about Irish English schools and study abroad plans today!

英語を勉強するためなら僕のお薦めは一年間の留学プラン！
If you aim is studying English, then I recommend that you study for 1 year on an exchange program.

学校が結構多いので、ダブリン、ゴールウェイ、コークのお勧めスポットを紹介します
There are a lot of schools, so I will introduce a few from Dublin, Galway and Cork.

ダブリンだと、ダブリンインターナショナルファウンデーションカレッジがお勧めです

In Dublin, the Dublin Interantional Foundation College is a really good bet.

この学校に入ると、アイルランドやイギリスの大学に入れるレベルの英語を勉強出来る保証があります
If you attend this college, they guarantee you will reach a level of English proficiency that will enable you to attend University in Ireland or the U.K.
